The color display can be changed to match your décor, and you can change it whenever you want. Additional smart features include smart alerts for air filter change reminders, temperature notifications, internet connection alerts, auto updates for daylight savings time, and multi-language options. This Wi-Fi thermostat will also automatically switch from heat to cool and learns your comfort level with Honeywell Home's Smart Response technology to deliver the right temperature at the time you want by learning your home's cycle times.

ENERGY STAR certified, this thermostat can help save energy, track your heating and cooling, and send personalized tips on reducing energy use. You can also check with your energy provider about available energy savings rebates to save on your purchase. This thermostat is compatible with forced air (gas, oil or electric), hot water and steam, and heat pumps with electric backup. It does not work with electric baseboard heat (120-240V). A C-WIRE is required, so before purchasing, check to see if this smart programmable thermostat is compatible with your home and to determine if your home needs a C-wire power adapter.

The thermostat also works with most heat/cool oil furnace systems, but will not work with heating only oil furnace systems unless a C-Wire is present. Fan Control Options include On: Fan is always on; Automatic: Fan runs only when the heating or cooling system is on; and Circulate: Fan runs randomly about 35% of the time.
